The Role of The Kudu

The Zulu Story

In nature a Kudu male has very poor family habits. He will move around between the female herds showing off his beautiful horns/antlers and parading in front of them. When a Kudu Cow comes into ustris he will quickly and quietly mate with her and rapidly move on to the next female herd if it appears that no more females will come into ustriss soon.
This does not make for a good example of marriage and love. Yet everything in nature is sacred to the Zulu the Kudu has to fulfill its part in story telling. For this reason they say the Kudu walks the way of the snake and nobody can really trust him. Compared to real life it will be similar to somebody seeking favours all the time and by doing other people favours he will rapidly move up the ranks trough un deserved promotions.
In the Zulu History they had a mighty king that should not have been a King at all. King Shaka was the illegitimate child of His father and Mnandi(sweet one) his mother not married to the King. During this period the Zulu clans was scattered all along the Kwa Zulu Region and did not seed to one ruler. This was in the young Shakas advantage since he was smiled upon by all clan leaders and they favoured him to do all sorts of errands.
These errands took Shaka across the borders into Portuguese Mozambique where he learned the art of metal work and ore mining. With his knowledge of all the clans and his new found wisdom he was promoted to the chief of the army during the troubled times of the Zulu’s and did much to amalgamate the various Zulu Impis into one large army.
Eventually Shaka was chosen King to lead the Zulu’s against their enemies, mainly the British thrown. Shaka only ruled for eight years until his mother died. He turned his rage on the nation and killed woman so that the nation could morn with him. Eventually his half brother concocted his assassination.
